wall space is thrilled to announce the opening of our Sixth Annual New Directions exhibition. Juried from over 1000 images from 200 talented artists, 24 prints from 18 artists have landed on the walls of the gallery.This years exhibition, Crossing Territories, is curated by the talented gallerist Debra Klomp Ching of KlompChing Gallery in New York. New Directions looks to find the newest ideas in contemporary photography and this years topic of visual discussion is the place where form and content fuse, intersect and enhance the ideas of photography.

Danielle and Matthew along with 20 other artists will open their studio to the public for the San Juan Artists’ Studio Tour. We are a group of mutually supportive San Juan Island artists who open up our personal studio spaces to the public for an entire weekend at the end of spring each year. This free community event celebrates the way we work and live. In addition to displaying our work, we share insights into how our art is created and what inspires and motivates us in our chosen media. |

The first two portfolios of Danielle Dean Palmer's Elementa collection will be released at photo LA 2008. The portfolios entitled seas and trees and will be available in a limited edition of five portfolios of hand printed, hand signed silver gelatin prints in a custom clamshell box as well as an edition of five large scale archival pigment prints per image. Photo LA 2008 is the 17th Annual International Photographic Art Exposition where over 75 of the worlds top photography galleries and representatives will be exhibiting January 10 - 13 in Santa Monica, CA.
